Ballyfermot College of Education (BCFE) have been nominated
five ‘Smedias’ – Short Film of the Year, TV Production
of the Year, Small College Publication, Website of the Year, and Journalist of
the Year (National Press).

Ireland-based actor Daniel Day-Lewis has won the best actor award at the 2008 Golden Globe Awards.
The award for ‘Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture
– Drama’  was won by Day-Lewis for his role in ‘There Will Be
Blood’ (pictured above).
